I wanted to share my experience with you and hope you will find it helpful.

I recently registered with the Norland Agency, after an absence of many years.  The last job I found through Norland was for a new baby and she now has a baby of her own!

Like many Norlanders seeking jobs,  I too looked at the London nanny agencies, mistakenly thinking the salaries would be higher and the jobs better.  I registered with six London agencies as well as the Norland agency.

I can only say I have been amazed by the effort, professional, friendly and helpful service I have received from the Norland agency staff, Sally and Jenny.  This has been in stark contrast to many of the other agencies I have registered with.  Some have been satisfactory at best,  and at worst, unhelpful, unfriendly and very off hand.

The salaries I have been offered through the Norland agency have been higher than the London agencies, something which surprised me.  Also, since there are fewer Norlanders on the books at one time looking, as opposed to the other agencies who have dozens of nannies, many unqualified,  it is much easier to get shortlisted and gain an interview through Norland.  One client I attended an interview with  told me that I was the first proper trained and experienced, non foreign nanny she had been offered through an agency.

I do not have experience of applying to the Norland agency as a client, but I can only imagine the same service would be given to the clients too.

I can truly say the whole experience of looking for a job through the Norland agency has been exceptional.

Jenny registers positions and places Norlanders in positions all around the world. She will work with you, getting to know your job requirements and preferences to ensure she can make the best match between you and the right family.
