Norland Nannies
Norland Nannies work on a daily (live out) or residential basis and their prime purpose is to meet all the needs of the children in their care.
The Norland Nanny works closely with the parents and plans and organises stimulating, educational and fun activities for the children. They cook for the children, providing them with a balanced diet, and make sure that they are safe and well.
Norland Nannies are specially trained in the care and well-being of young children and should not be asked to undertake domestic work other than those which are connected with the children.
It would not be practical to draw up hard and fast rules for the employer or nanny as no two families have the same domestic arrangements.
It is the responsibility of the nanny to adapt themselves as far as possible to the existing conditions of the household. The precise terms under which a nanny is employed must therefore be negotiated between the nanny and the employer.
