Norland Maternity Practitioner Course

Norland College is delighted to now be able to offer Maternity Practitioner Training for Norlanders. The course is designed exclusively for Norlanders who wish to become qualified maternity nurses, or improve their knowledge about the care of new born babies and their mothers. The course will cover a variety of topics such as:
- The role of the maternity nurse
- Needs of a new born baby
- Taking care of and supporting the new mother
The course will be held over three days and will include breastfeeding and how to latch on correctly; bottle feeding; bathing and care; sleeping patterns; SIDS; common problems for the baby and mother postnatal depression.
Also included will be information regarding the maternity nurse role and responsibilities, employment and contracts.
The aim of this course is to provide the delegates with an in-depth knowledge of the role of the Maternity Nurse and to help build confidence for future employment opportunities and experiences.
Once you have completed the Norland Maternity Nurse Course, Norland Agency will be able to put you forward for maternity nurse positions straight away.
The total cost for the 3 day course including include lunch and refreshments is £546.00 (including VAT).
